An international co-production by actress and theatre maker Maja Mitić (Ko-smo(s) Theater, Serbia) and director Anna Furse (Athletes of the Heart (UK)). This solo performance reflects on Mitic’s 30-year long theatre career. She did a lot of research on Ellida, the main character in Ibsen’s The Woman of the Sea, which formed the inspiration for this performance. She focuses on Ellida’s deep anguish as a woman who is trapped in her socio-economic position. Powerful, authentic acting and movement techniques make Maja Mitic a unique artist, who performs all over the world.
