By using traditional songs and dances form Greece, the participants will have the chance to explore different kind of energies, qualities and ways of presence, but most of all they will have the chance to meet, exchange and enter all together into a “separate reality”.

The power of improvised stories, movement, singing and human contact are central to this. We show you how improvisation can create new material for performances. Each player has its own unique quality that emerges through this approach.
POD Teatar – Workshop

POD Teatar is a progressive company in the field of community theater in Serbia. During this workshop, participants get acquainted with theater methods, with which they learn to understand, liberate and control their voice. Much attention is also paid to the natural combination of body, voice and emotion, which POD Teatar regards as the key to discovering and developing its own artistic possibilities.
Finally, in singing we seek a metaphysical experience or dialogue. Singing can contribute to the integration and development of the relationship between the group members.

This workshop encourages participants to look for genuine and authentic expressions in art, movement, acting, rhythm, music, singing, etcetera. The goal is to build trust and create emotional statements and body expression through movement, voice and improvisation exercises.
Teatr Brama is a theatre group from Goleniow, Poland. They have grown into an international company that trains young people to become makers and actors, specialized in community art theatre.
DAR AMSTERDAM – Workshop

To be able to improvise is nowadays the basis of theatre-making. But what is the starting point of the performer in improvisation. Is this his or her own experience? Their talent or their unique creative vision in solving and looking at situations. In this workshop, we search within different possibilities of theatre improvisation. We return to the authenticity of the performer and research how he or she can use improvisation to create interesting scene material.
